How I Became a raverdj.gif Fan
It all started awhile ago. I was searching for either Pump It Up MP3s or Anime game ROMs, I can't remember which. Anyway, I stumbled across a site devoted to anime and DDR and at that site I saw raverdj.gif for the first time. I immidiately thought that it was the coolest animated GIF I had ever seen and downloaded it to my hard drive. After about a year, I had almost completely forgotten about raverdj.gif. My hard drive crashed and I shed a few tears. I then spent my time buying a new computer and getting my Waku Waku 7 website,
WakuWaku Astra Galaxy , back up and running. One day, I needed a good laff, so I searched New Grounds, a website filled with Flash Animations, for Animutations and Fanimutations. I stumbled across an animation called "DanceDietReproduction" which featured raverdj.gif in it. I was immidiately reminded of how cool raverdj.gif was, and I had to find her again. I searched high and low, but without knowing the file name, it was no good. I e-mailed the creator of DanceDietReproduction and he said that he too suffered a hard drive crash and thus couldn't send me the GIF. As I searched and searched, I became more and more obsessed and desperate for the file. Finally, in an act of pure desperateness, I started searching DDR and Bemani message boards for the greatness that was raverdj.gif. After may hours of searching, I found an edited version of her being used as an avatar for a user called aznxsupaxhero. I E-Mailed him begging for the origional file…and I waited. As I waited, my mind began to wander. I stared at the edited sprite and the DanceDietReproduction video and became more and more obsessed. Finally, in my tired mind I though "If I EVER find this dang GIF, I'll make a shrine to her!". Finally, I checked my E-Mail on the 7th of March, 2003 and my efforts were rewarded. Aznxsupaxhero replied to my E-Mail with the animated GIF I had so desired attached. I was overjoyed! And, remembering my promise, I erected this website in her name.
